  1. If the military is just there to guard the pipelines that they built right after we took over and installed the Conoco executive, Karzai, as President...you bet I do!

There is enough proof that Bush and Cheney and Blair lied about attacking Iraq. There is plenty of proof that we attacked Afghanistan to take over the pipeline route from the Argentinian country that the Taliban government had awarded the contract to. The Taliban officials turned down Conoco and Cheney's bunch to change contracts 6 months before 9/11 when they met in Texas. They were told they could have choose between being showered with gold or get carpet bombed. (Exact quote can be googled)

It is also obvious that our and coalition soldiers are predominantly guarding the pipeline route and doing little for the country of Afghanistan. There was little indication that there was an interest in Usama bin Laden and pretty good indication he is dead now anyway. Benazar Bhutto was assassinated within days of telling the world that she had proof he was dead and named names.

As long as our military is being mis-used as high priced security for commercial profits...you bet I am upset about tax-payer dollars being used for international oil companies profits (they do not pay taxes here anyway.)

These companies can afford to hire Blackwater or whoever they want with their obscene profits.

We need new bridges, levies and a good education for our kids so they can compete in the world of the future. Our energy grid is falling apart and new workers need to be trained to rebuild it and maintain it!

I am an electrician...one of many that is going to retire soon and am very aware of the lack of trained electricians and construction trades people in America.

Afghanistan does deserve to have a real chance at becoming a self-governing and more prosperous country but the century of Empires is over. We and the world need to help them help themselves to build schools and infrastructure and stop using them and abusing them for our corporate profits and letting everything else go to heck.

  2. I do.

I wish we would finish the job and get out, but it's important to finish the job right.  Iraq is preventing us from focusing on that.

  3. I oppose the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Is that simple that the US troops just want to help the Afghanistan to defend the Russian invasion or get rid of the Taliban. Many visitors are shocked, saddened and cried during the after war tours to Afghanistan because the damaging and hardship of the peoples in Afghanistan. A TV star was cried and screamed during her charity visit to Afghanistan. She described it was terrified in Afghanistan as if it were a died city more damaging than an abandoned ghost town in the Hollywood movie. War is sinful and an evil crime of killing and damaging the innocent local citizens.

I think the Iraq war is even more damaging. Please take a look into the following website.http://www.informationclearinghouse.info...

  4. I think it's high time we get out of Iraq and Afghanistan. Though I'd much rather see us spending our efforts in Afghanistan, since I think Iraq can handle itself now.

I use to believe that mantra that if we don't kill them over there, they'll come here, but I don't believe that anymore. I think the nutty extremist clerics know that if they attacked the US again, it would ignite another fire under our @ss, and mobilize the country against them again.

I believe it is more detrimental to the US to continue wasting all this money in rebuilding other "ungrateful" nations, than it would be if we came home and got attacked again, which I don't think will happen.

We have so many more domestic problems at home that need fixing and funding, instead of wasting it on countries that will hate us in 5 years!

  5. If you oppose the war in Iraq or Afghanistan you are no different than our enemy, they oppose the war as well.

  6. I oppose.

we shouldn't have gone there to begin with.

and McCain CANNOT be elected president. oh man that would be horrible just think about 100 years of war that shouldn't have started in the first place.

  7. I do

  8. although it does not really affect greece whether u go and bomb the whole world up or not. i am disgusted with the way america treats these small counties because their position is important geographically being near the arab oils. i never saw america helping people in countries where there is no economical interest in further exploitation of their wealth after y destroy them. "fight against terrorism " "humanitarian intervention" or what ever you like to call it is simply clear and only american imperialism. luckily other countries r becoming strong like russia and china (europe was always strong) so the power is shifting to a better balance in this world.

  9. If you people only knew the correct reasons we are in Iraq.  And yes WMD's have been found.  Polish UN soldiers found Sarin and yes the RGFC where telling the US officials that they transported the weapons to Syria and Lebanon.

Saddam didn't allow UN weapons inspectors into the country to investigate?  If he didn't have weapons why did he deny them?

Also there was a war in 1991 that stated that Iraq must allow inspectors in at any time the UN wants them in.  They agreed to this in part of the treaty.  Now didn't this event happen similarly in 1936 when everyone wasn't doing anything to Germany?  Yeah I think it did, except now we have a President who has the balls to actually to follow the treaty that was signed and you people cry about it.  Granted Iraq is nothing like Germany but it sends a statement to the world.  Think about in 20 years when we have a war with Russia, and yes it is coming, we destroy their army and part of their treaty is to follow certain rules.  Well lets say they want to break those rules 10 years after the treaty is signed, they will look back and say, the US will stop us cause they did it to Iraq.

So stop your ******* bitching.  If you want to cry about death and destruction... Go look at New Orleans, Detriot, Baltimore, LA, Washington, Atlanta, and Cleveland and look at how many people die from the ages of 18-25 your typical US Soldier.  A lot more than Iraq.

Exit strategy?  The strategy is to win and don't leave until you have finished.  Most of the fighters in Iraq are not even Iraqi but from neighboring countries.  There is currently less violence on the street then there was when Saddam was in power.  Less violence between the Sunni and Shiite and the Kurds are no longer being Genocided.

  10. I do oh and Patriot 1st, Conservative 2nd don't use your fear mongering here. "If your not with us your with them". That c**p doesn't work on people anymore.

  11. WoW, I hope Patriot 1st, Conservative 2nd doesn't really mean that!

Sounds like Bush..."Either you're with us, or you're with the terrorists". Not true! I am with neither; I'm for the American people - not their criminal government.

Iraqi's were not a real threat, and did America no harm. Thousands of priceless lives have been lost, and millions upon billions of dollars, gone forever. At this point, there is no outcome that will make this all worth it.

  12. us should not be in both

  13. i don't agree with either, we were in afgahnistan before 9/11, why do you think we were a target. You were just sitting around minding your own business huh? And what did they have to gain then? Couple of planes was really going to change your religion and hate your freedom?

  14. If the Weapons of Mass Destruction were found were is the proof?  Poor US Foreign Policy lead to these wars.  Even the CIA opposed Operation Iraqi Freedom.  This is part of the reason why Secretary of State Colin Powell did not stay.  Anyone that criticized George Walker Bush by telling the truth as to how secretive his manipulations of the law were harassed by the FBI.  Show proof of the WMDs.

Even veterans of those war realized they were lied to.

  15. I do.
