Question:

Those who deny the historical truth of the Holocaust, while I support your right to say whatever you wish...?

...isn't it true that you haven't taken that right nearly far enough in your vigilant defense of the truth? For example, isn't it also true that World War 2 never happened? And isn't it also true that this so called 'Europe' area doesn't even exist ? And why haven't you spoken out about this so called 'Moon' that the liberal media is trying to ram down our throats? I've never seen any 'Moon', have you? Anyway, keep up the good work.

  1. Heh Heh, nice! :-D

I'm not sure why there are people out there who deny the holocaust. The evidence sounds like it is fairly substantial to me.

I'm pretty sure that those who do will find a difference in their argument to yours however - there will probably be one along any minute now.

Anyway, keep up the ironic work: we all need to laugh at ourselves from time to time - all of us.

  2. It's called "Shoa" now. Holocaust means "burnt offering," and the Jews (if they exist!) have asked people to call it Shoa instead. I think it means sacrifice, but I can't remember.

Obviously people giving me thumbs-down don't know any Jews. We've gotten several announcements at our church as well from the local synagogues, asking to change the terminology.

    EDIT:

I was told that Shoah (the correct spelling) means calamity. I was also told that while many Jewish people refer to it as that in their own circle, they aren't asking people to call it this. But they are out here where I live.

Maybe it's because I'm in the Pacific Northwest, and things tend to start more in this direction and move across the country. But like I've said, we've gotten announcements from local synagogues, and have heard the same things from people in California and Washington.

I attend a UU church, and we have some Jewish members (who also attend local synagogues), and we have a cooperative religious coalition with several local churches, synagogues, and mosques. You can tell me I'm wrong all day long, but I could go pull out the announcement that was handed over to my church.

My guess is perhaps it's the more liberal Jewish community, and it may not happen in more Orthodox circles, or it just hasn't caught on yet.

At any rate, I'd rather call it something closer to "calamity" than "burnt offering" any day.

  3. Yep, any time you are confronted with a Holocaust denier, simply ask them WHY they don't deny the deaths of the millions and millions of NON Jews who were murdered by the n***s.

They only ever deny the Jewish deaths. And that reveals their agenda. Only those who condone the Holocaust, seek to minimise or deny it outright.

To the person who stated 'every race has suffered equally' - drivel. Firstly, Jews are NOT a 'race'. Secondly, NO other religious group has come SO close to total extermination. No other group has been slaughtered in specially designed and constructed gas ovens and death camps. Get your facts straight.

And to the first answerer who said that her Church has announcements etc - sorry, but you ARE wrong in what you are stating. Jews don't 'ask' anyone to call the Holocaust Shoah. If we call it that, which is a Hebrew word meaning 'calamity', then that is our choice and of course, non Jews are free to do the same. But we don't 'ask' anyone to do it.

  4. In their sad, pathetic, unself-aware way, Holocaust deniers help define the concept of free speech, the way those KKK types and swastika carrying types do.

I can tolerate a principle, but still despise the person.  I'm free to have that thought.

  5. There are only a couple of nuts who deny the holocaust.

    Doesn't this belong in history?

And a review of history will reveal that almost every race has suffered as horribly or more horribly, so why does this keep getting dug up endlessly?

  6. These must be the same people who KNOW God doesnt exist and think a newly conceived child isnt really a human.

  7. People that deny the holocaust are nuts and in a severe minority.

  8. i'll make sure to tell Ahmedinijad next time i see him.
