  1. Yes!

A lot of civil suits are frivolous. My ex employer is in the midst of a civil suit. Employees said they were "forced" to show up to work 10 min early without pay. COME ON PEOPLE!

If they join cause they think they can get rich then there should be a penalty if they loose. Its a waist of time/money.

Suing is a bad thing we have going on in America.  Way to much of it and the winner doesn't always get paid.

  2. The judge can rule that the loser pays, but collecting the money is another matter.

  3. yes i do..it is like a "guilty" verdict which shows that they are the responsible party. If they had done what they were supposed to do in the first place the suit would never have had to be filed so they are responsible for the cost of that.

  4. you got this backward those who win civil suits should pay

cost of the trial and court cost.

  5. absolutely they should

  6. In general they should. But that's really individual from case to case. I see that in America, some organisations use lawsuits as a kind of weapon against the people disagreeing with their policies/beliefs, and in some instances people have been driven to bankruptcy due to their cost of constantly having to handle legal claims either from lawyers or in court!

  7. They should be forced to pay if the suit is a frivolous one.

They should not pay under other circumstances because those who cannot afford to pay may be denied justice and this provision will favor the rich and discriminate against the poor.
