  1. water held in the stem is what makes it possible for the plant to stand up.....what keeps the leaves outstretched to the light... and what aids in transpiration and the movement of nutrients from soil to plant tissues.....

  2. Too much water would lead to rotting.  So I would query the use of the words "a lot".

The plants use water to make their cells turgid so that they stand upright.  Nutrients are transported via the sap.  Transpiration is the evaporation of water from the leaves of a plant.  Transpiration causes water to be pulled up the stem in the xylem vessels, this is the transpiration stream.

  3. Besides photosynthesis , watr is required for a lot many other things .

Where from the water in coconut fruit comes?

For that matter in all fleshy and juicy fruits ?
