A child that acts without thinking about the consequences. Their actions can be anything from an act of selfishness or as simple as an act of doing something unsafe, unkind, or disrespectful. I truly believe that it is imperative that we as parents instill a conscience in our children so they always think before acting. It is this knowledge of knowing right from wrong that will insure they live a productive, healthy, happy life, and that is all any good parent can ask for.

A thoughtless child is one who only cares about him/herself, does whatever they wish regardless of anyone else who may get hurt by their actions...this is usually a spoiled child who has been allowed to get away with things from a very young age without being chastised.

I consider a 'thoughtless child' as a child who is just inconsiderate of everyone and their feelings.  I used to think it was a result of bad parenting, like parents that act thoughtless to the child.  But I've come to see that even children with loving, attentive parents can be like this (example:  my ex husband, lol).  Someone that has no problem destroying things that others have worked hard for, someone who belittles others to benefit themselves, someone who puts themselves before everyone and everything (sometimes even their own children when they get older).

Honestly I think it has alot to do with a mental disorder.  You have ppl with inferiority complexes that think everyone is better than them.  I believe it's a form of that.  Not that they start out thinking they're better than everyone, but that they believe they are inferior and eventually get to a point where they feel the need to start putting themselves first.  

Then again, it could also be due to them being 'spoiled'.  They're raised to believe they ARE better than everyone and that nothing else matters.
