so i've just been shopping and i saw the DVD, and i read the info, first line i read said 'Teen comedy about the laughs and fun of being a parent' WTF??? im a teen mum and believe me it isn't all fun and laughter. does anyone else think that this film is promoting teen pregnancy? the story itself would be good if it was a teen DRAMA and set out to be a warning. BTW i love my daughter and would never want my life any other way, but surely every parent feels like that. my only wish is that i could have the same child just a couple years later than 16.

  1. Personally, I dont think it promotes teen pregnancy. I think it was meant to be more of an awkward film with teenagers, that you dont see often. I doubt that movie would want to make any teenager pregnant.

  2. No it's NOT promoting teen pregnancy it's about one girls struggle to come and her way of with getting pregnant after having s*x for the first time. In fact I think her choice of putting the baby up for adoption was rather mature of her. She knew the baby would have a better life then she could give it. Yes it has humor in it because that was her way of dealing with the situation. I think if more teen girls gave their babies up for adoption we'd have less teen mothers on welfare. I thought it was a great movie and well done.

  3. it's a movie DUH!!!!!! it's not promoting shiznett if u think men in black is promoting alien violence too then yre crazy.....it's just a freaking movie jeesus!

  4. I AGREE! Although nobody seems to agree with me. I do think that in a way it is saying that teen pregnancy is much easier than I would imagine it is. I think if more people like you stood up and said look it's not easy, and not full of wise-cracks. I think teens need to wake up, maybe personal stories would help them?

  5. Teens need to keep their legs closed more.

    :)

  6. No it doesn't promote it. It shows how hard high school is but then on top of it she gets prego and it was their first time...but its sprinkled with humor to...But no i don't feel its promoting teen pregnancy.
