  1. Depending on how old you are I would say and IUD. It's a T-shaped device that the doctors inserts into your uterus.  It's the world's most widely used form of birth control. Depending on the type you choose and IUD can be worn from 5-10 years. It's very safe and very few women have experienced any real bad side effects from it. The worst side effect is in women who have multiple partners and develop some sort of STD from those encounters.

  2. well ..im abstinant.

    that seems to work

  3. If you don't want any of them, then your options are limited..

The best way is not to do it at all,or use vibrators only,or make sure your man does not want kids and gets sterilized, for with out the use of the rest, them are your only options..

  4. Abortion is murder.

Birth Control Pills are a prevention. However, most women do not take them exactly on time each day. That is how BC pills fail.

    Norplant, is it still available?

Depro prevara is it still available?

    IUD's do work

    Sterilization works well too.

Other means of s*x other than vaginal intercourse also works.

  5. It's a lie that birth control (all types mentioned including abortion) kills children and it is most definitely a falsehood that hormonal contraceptions do anything except prevent ovulation. What are you doing going to the priest for life website and taking it as truth???

As for your options, you can get your tubes tied, you can remain abstinent, you can enter into a relationship with a man who has had a vasectomy and/or you can use condoms (although condoms are not as reliable as hormonal contraceptives and especially not female condoms) other options such as NFP are even less reliable.

  6. I think you need to do a little more research on birth control.  Until then, don't have s*x, because that's the only way to be 100% sure that you won't get pregnant.

  7. Birth Control has many side effects, most of which are not noted by the doctors because they can't be proven (such as an inability to have children after taking birth control), this has happened to many people I know, so your best bet would be to just use a condom and spermicide.

  8. Birth control and emergency contraception do not kill children.  You are misinformed.  With your reasoning, you might as well oppose  your own menstrual cycle, as well as men masturbating.

  9. There's always anal and oral. Don't knock it until you've tried it.

  10. Depo Provera is WONDERFUL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Get a shot every 12 weeks and.....ta da!...not only no babies but no period either.  Whooo-Freaking-Hoooo baby!  No bloating, no snivelling, no cramping, no crying, no messiness, no nothing.  Used it for 5 years - loved it.  I've heard that some women don't do as well as I did but over the years I've tried, the pill (pain in the butt), IUD (too invasive), condoms (this is how I got pregnant with my son) and depo was definitely my fave and it also had the added benefit of forcing you to go to the doctor if you're like me and always put it off.

  11. First, you need to read a book and educate yourself before you should even CONSIDER breeding.

Birth control, like the IUD, the pill or the morning after pill (just a large dose of birth control pills) does not "kill children."

  12. The Nuva Ring(Prevents the egg from being released during ovulation)

Natural Family Planning(Finding out how you body works and abstaining from s*x during ovulation or using protection(condoms/cervical cap)

Cervical Cap(Used with Spermicide, you apply it on the cervix to prevent sperm from getting in)

Condoms(Keep the sperm from entering the woman when used properly)

There are many more, but I can't think of any right now. I probably remember some in a few minutes.

EDIT @ Proud Mamma: You need to do some more research. Not all birth controls prevent ovulation. Most actually prevent the fertilized egg from implanting.

EDIT: IUD prevents the fertilized egg from implanting. Don't use it.

  13. hysterectomy and abstinence are your only guarantees.  It is a misconception that birthcontrol pills allow you to get pregnant and abort the baby. Ovulation does not occur, so neither does conception. You need to do more research.

  14. Uh, none of what you list "kills children" -- birth control pills don't kill anything; they prevent pregnancy.

The Morning After pill and IUD (I think) prevent the Zygote (a single cell, which is NOT a child) from attaching to the uterus.

There are condoms, which prevent sperm from entering the woman's body.

If you don't EVER want children, then the best bet is to have surgery.

Abortions don't kill children. A small collection of cells is NOT a child. A child is something that's has been out of the womb for at least a couple of years.

Birth control pills are your best bet. They prevent pregnancy from happening, and are easy, safe, and very effective, if you take them properly.

  15. If you don't want to get sterilized maybe your partner can be? Does that work?

  16. condom

    diafram

    woman condom

    BC - Birth control

  17. only fool proof way to prevent pregnancy is abstinence.

getting your tubes tied is the next most effective way without any eggs being fertilized (hormonal iuds are more effective, but they have several ways of preventing pregnancy--one of which is preventing implantation, though the hormone usually prevents ovulation at all) then birth control pills used with condoms or another barrier.

btw, birth control pills do NOT kill a fertilized egg. they prevent ovulation. you may want to talk to  your doc about this, as it seems you've been misinformed about some things.

  18. abortion and morning after pill...shouldn't be used as BC.  Simple as that.  Lets set aside all the Moral reasons the risks to the woman's health...is a very valid reason why.

Out of the things listed IUD is the best long term BC...copper one kills sperm, stops the uterus from creating a thick lining, and as a last resort will stop a fertilized egg from implanting.  Last for 4-5 years, no s******g up with this one.  It does have some down sides, increases the chances of a more serious infection should you get an STD so its recommended for women who only have ONE partner.  Lot of the hype about it being dangerous comes from the 80's they have changed it.

just read you thoughts on abortion...oops...but I have an idea.

The male b/c pill/shot/patch will prevent a man from producing sperm and he will be shooting blanks.  No sperm, no fertilized eggs.

  19. How is birth control killing a child?  It's preventing one.

  20. Birth control doesn't kill anything. It just prevent ovulation and thickens the mucous in your cervix, making it (obviously) impossible for s***n to reach any egg that may be there. It doens't kill children, it wouldn't even be human life until it's fertilized. An egg is just a cell.

  21. Abstinence is the only sure fire way.  Sterilization works pretty well too.  If your interested in finding a birth control option that does not manipulate eggs or zygotes there are condoms, foams, spermicdes.  Less reliable methods include withdrawal and the rhythym method (counting days in between your cycle to know when you are most fertile.

  22. The Swallow

any kind of body shot, **** etc

    A

pro life people will sometimes say, "keep your legs closed" or something, this method doesn't work, its like crossing your fingers when you lie.

Keeping her legs closed will only increase friction.

  23. Why not get sterilized? If you don't want kids.. why are you keeping your eggs?

    EDIT: Why not?

EDIT: Well you can't win them all. You have to compromise one way or another.
