The first week is usually a gimme, but when you see teams like Virginia Tech and Pittsburgh losing.. And Michigan losing to a D-II team last year, you can never take anything for granted.
I think the SEC is looking pretty sharp and clearly like the best conference in the nation.
UGA <-> Won 45-21 (Knowshon 3 TDs and 100 total yards in 1st half, Caleb King almost 100 yds rushing, AJ Green TD in debut, Stafford 2 TD, 0 INT, career high passing yards)
LSU <-> Won 41-13 (App St upset Michigan last year but was completely smothered by LSU)
South Carolina <-> Won 34-0 (Their starting QB was horrible, 0 TDs 4 INT, but once they replaced him they rolled. Their defense looked sharp)
Florida <-> Won 56-10 (Last year if Florida scored 56 points, Tebow would have 8 Touchdowns, today he only had 1.. That tells you how much talent his has around him this year. They were way too fast for Hawaii).
Vandy won 34-13
Alabama v. Clemson tonight at the Ga Dome
So far the SEC is 5-0 and have outscored their opponents 210-57
Is this possibly the best the SEC has ever been overall?
