Question:

Thousand Eyes Restrict vs. Relinquished???

I have both Thousand Eyes Restrict and Relinquished (x2) in my deck. After reading both of their effects...I can't really think of any benefits that Thousand Eyes Restrict brings to the table that Relinquished doesn't. Why would one give up their Relinquished (that is, fusing it with Thousand Eyes Idol) in order to summon a monster whose effect is...worse? or is it? Am i overlooking something?

I know Thousand Eyes Restrict's ability to bring the game to a stasis is the ultimate stall technique (good for Exodia, Destiny Board holders)...but is it more helpful than Relinquished for those of us without those cards?

  1. There is a reason why thousand-eyes restrict is forbidden and relinquished is unlimited. When TER was limited could easily be brought out by using metamorophisiss on a goat token or magician of faith and bring the game to a standstill. Then using Tsukuyomi could clear the opponents field. And when the duelist is ready, he could tribute TER and win.
