  1. I would add some weight training for muscle tone and you could probably cut down a day on the treadmill.  In my opinion, the treadmill with weight training will make you feel and look better.

  2. Depends a bit on whether the level you are choosing is sufficient to get cardiovascular advantage. For this you need 30 minutes of moderate exercise 5 days a week. During this period you need to have your pulse rate at 85% of the predicted maximum for your your age. In your case this would be 220- 45= 175 bbm.

  3. I think you should add some weight training about two times a week.  It will help your bones stay strong and tone your muscles.

  4. Depends if you are running or a slow walk. I do 3 gym sessions (1 hour on cross trainer, 20 minutes on treadmill and weights), 2 classes of aerobics, 5 x 1 mile swims and around 20 miles per week walking and I'm 41 and fit.

Any exercise is better than nothing but I personally would up your exercise.

  5. It's very good that you're getting lots of cardio in.  But, you should also be toning your muscles (like others have suggested).

I'm sure you've heard though, exercise alone will not help you stay fit, you should indulge in a healthy diet.  Try lots of fruits and vegetables, you should feel better.  Good luck--hope this helps!
