I got three Audiobahn Alum12Q Subwoofers. any Recommendations for a amplifier? Because i thought about getting a Hifonics Brutus amplifier that produces 2600 watts and i can wire them into 1 ohm load. But idk. I heard that lowers the amp. Life. Any suggestions?

  3. The HiFonics is ok for a first time system, but many have been show to do well under ratted power.  Also, you should not feel like you have to have a massive amplifier to power the sub woofers near their rms.  Look into a used Orion 2500D on ebay, or a Rockford Power 2000.1 if you still want a big time amplifier.  But if you go that route, make sure you have the proper current available and supply to support that amp.
