Three FC Kaiserslautern players arrested from a Brothel – Bundesliga news 
Three FC Kaiserslautern players, Tobias Sippel, Thanos Petsos, and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Ivo-Ilicevic-c17402, have put themselves in hot water following their arrest from a Brothel during the late hours of Sunday, July 3. The trio was also involved in a car accident when their BMW collided
with another car coming the opposite direction. The driver of the car at the moment of the crash remains to be identified.
The club officials have been asked to stay quiet over the matter by the police personnel.
Kaiserslautern President, though, confirmed that the players would receive the club’s full support. He also criticized the manager, Marco Kurz, for letting the three go out despite training sessions being in progress. He hoped that the trio would be released
sooner than later and will be back in training among their teammates.
Kurz, on the other hand, told that the players would certainly face punishment for their actions. He also urged the police officials to resolve the matter at the earliest. The Manager also encouraged other players to continue providing their support to the
trio on the field during the upcoming season. Moving on, Kurz hoped for a better 2011/12 campaign and wished to attain a European spot come the end of the season.
The 23-year-old Sippel joined the Red Devils senior outfit in 2007 and has managed 98 Bundesliga appearances so far. The player is yet to appear for the German national side but has already represented his country at the U21 level.
Illicevic, on the other hand tied, knots with Kaiserslautern in 2009 when he came on loan from http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/VfL-Bochum-c40880. The 24-year-old then became a regular at the club in 2010 and has netted five goals until now from 17 Bundesliga games.
The West http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904 born player made his Croatian debut in 2010 and has summed up three appearances so far, bagging a solitary goal in return.
All the three players were extremely embarrassed over the entire situation and apologised to the club fans and officials.
