Three Kinds of people?

Question

OK, tell me what you think. The first kind of person is someone who doesn't care about horses at all.

The second kind of person is someone who loves horses but does not want the responsibility of taking care of one. Those people should BOARD. That way they can go out and "play" when they feel like it without having to bust ice water in the dead of winter at 5am in the morning, feed in the pouring rain, or clean stalls when it's over 100 degrees.

Guess what kind the third kind of person is?

...it's all about the horses.

the third kind is someone who sleeps,breaths and lives for horses.the person that will do absolutley anything to help their horse, or just any horse.the person that wakes up every day just to go outside and see their horse.the tird person is the peson who WILL bust waters in the dead of winter at 5am in te morning,feed in the pouring rain and cean stalls when it is over 100 degrees.not because the love horses, but because they live for them.

Im so the third person. I had to wake up early in the morning to lug water to my horse. And it was nearly -15 sometimes. i guess thats what i get for living in minnesota. lol.

My Grandpaw got me my 1st horse.  I was 12 years old.  Every day before & after school I was wading snow, (northern Michigan), breaking ice, shoveling p**p....

That was 47 years ago- I still have horses.

Grandpa always had horses.

When I got the first horse he told me something that still sticks with me......  "...there's horse owners and then there's horsemen... it's up to you to decide what you want to be..."

In getting me that horse the old man taught me a lot about life- deciding about dedication, partnerships, responsibility,   life lessons.

I think there's a fourth kind:  the kind of person who THINKS they know a lot and THINKS they are a good horse owner but really doesn't have a clue.  Which can be worse/more dangerous than someone that just doesn't care.
