Three Kingdoms chasing first victory in Renmore Maiden
Three Kingdoms will be looking to win his first ever race in the Renmore Maiden at Galway in Ireland on Monday, September 10, 2012. He is a very competitive runner, but has not tasted success yet in his career. He has got a solid chance of shinning today
and should grab this opportunity with both hands.
Since all the participants will be chasing their maiden victory in this race, the competition will be quite an interesting one. Only six entries have been confirmed for the 1 mile 4 furlong event, which will kick off at 19:05 GMT. The winner will run away
with a cash prize of €8,280 in the end.
Apart from Miss Macnamara, all other contestants have participated in at least one race, but they are not much experienced. This means that they might make mistakes, but that is not a big concern, as it will teach them a good lesson at the end of the day.
Faanan Aldaar is the most experienced of the lot in today’s race and she will also be in contention of a victory. She has participated in six events and the best she could manage was a runner up place once. In addition to that, she has secured the third
spot on three occasions, which shows that she can be extremely competitive.
However, the three-year-old filly will not like the yielding to soft conditions at Galway, thus it will not be a clever idea to risk a lot of money in her favour.
On the other hand, Three Kingdoms will be a lot better option, as he is not dependant on track conditions. He has proved that to everyone by delivering good results with consistency in different conditions.
The three-year-old colt debuted in June this year and was unable to finish in the top three in his first ever outing. However, his performance was not bad at all, as he finished in fourth place out of 15 runners.
Since then, the D. K. Weld’s trainee has never dropped out of the top three. He finished as a runner up once whereas secured the third spot on a couple of times. This shows what he is capable of achieving today under promising jockey, Pat Smullen.
