  3. You should do your own homework, but here's what I will tell you.

    1.  

    • The Sahara is in it's location mostly because of it's latitude. Deserts are not formed by tectonic plate movements.  What's more, deserts are not landforms.

    2.

    • The equator goes just south of west Africa, so Africa north of the Equator and south of the Sahara is only West Africa and the very top of East Africa.

    • Rain forests around the world are very sparsely populated.

    3.

    • Lots of African countries are land-locked and have no fishing industry.

    • While some developing countries have developed industry on a large scale, most African countries have not, so competing with other African countries would not be an issue.
