Three White Doves Flying By - What does this mean?

Question

Before I explain - I'd like to ask that the sarcastic people please refrain from commenting something like "It means birds flew by". I am looking for a more symbolic answer.

Earlier today my peripheral vision caught something of a white blob outside of my RV window. I turned to look and it was three white doves flying in a triangle pattern over my "yard" where my RV home is parked. I know this area well, and we almost NEVER see white doves here in Dallas area of Texas. Pigeons, yes - but they are always gray. Never doves, especially white ones. So it definitely caught my attention and curiosity. I've tried to research what it means, and saw things about peace and angels, but I'm a little confused on if this is the case, why me & why now? No one has died that I know in many years. Everyone I know is well and alive. Things are OK in my life. So what am I to take of it? Coincidence and lost birds? LOL Any opinions that are kind are appreciated. Thanks for reading. Ü

i saw three white doves today and like you caught my attention. Not common where i live i fogot about it and it came to my attention again. When i originally seen the three doves immediately came to my mind well i believe the Spirit spoke to me and said Father, Son and the Holy Spirit. So as i began to do a search like you on the meaning i came across your post and to my surprise someone answered your post and said about the religious part of it and mentioned the Father, Son and the HolySpirit. So i believe definetly it is in repesentation of The Spirit of God but also oneness. Thank you for your post.

I guess some people who answered didn't read your first sentence about refraining from sarcasm. Either that or they just ignored it. But unlike them, I don't think there is anything silly or wrong with interpreting things like that.

The same thing happened to me today. I was lying on the lawn in my garden, and three white doves flew over and even landed not far from me. They all started walking towards me and then suddenly flew away again.

White doves aren't uncommon where I live (Vienna, Austria). As you say, they are usually symbols for peace, love, and purity. They can also be divine messengers. In Catholicism they could even symbolize the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. Depending on how religious you are, they may have appeared to bring a good message to you. It may not be anything obvious but it is a good omen in general.

It's hard to tell exactly with these things. But I think you'll agree, it was definitely lovely to see those three white doves.
