  1. The Bell Jar - Sylvia Plath

Brave New World - Aldous Huxley

    Endgame - Derrick Jensen

(they are of totally different genres and styles, but I think that's what makes them so wonderful!)

  4. A Series of Unfortunate Events by Lemony Snicket (if that counts as a single book)

The Complete Tales of Winnie the Pooh by A. A. Milne.  Oh don't look at me like that, it's a great book even if it IS Winnie the Pooh!

A Mango-Shaped Space by Wendy Mass.  Seriously, this book never fails to make me cry at a particular scene.

  5. Twilight - Stephenie Meyer...love it

The Five People You Meet in Heaven - Mitch Albom

I love these books! I just can't seem to let go of them and hand them on to my sister.Anybody who is thinking about getting any of these books, i highly reccomend them.

I'm not really the reader type, well I wasn't until I read these books.

    Haha....

Can someone please answer the question I posted yesterday, nobody has answered yet : (

    lol

I'm just looking for some new books.

Sorry to put this in your question!

  11. Harry Potter by JK Rowling (I'm counting this as one book :))

Howls Moving Castle by Diana Wynne Jones

Lord of the Rings by JRR Tolkien

Harry Potter, because it was and still remains to be the best book i have ever read. I've read them more times than I've read the rest of the books in my bookcase combined.

Howl's Moving Castle, because, although it's a kids book, it's a great light read that leaves me feeling happy and great.

And Lord of the Rings because the world that Tolkien has created could keep me occupied for years

  12. Jane Eyre - Charlotte Bronte

Nine Stories - J.D. Salinger (more of a collection of his short stories...but still...)

The Last of The Really Great Whangdoodles - Julie Andrews Edwards (It's a childhood favorite, though A Separate Peace by John Knowles is a close one, too.)

You know, I've been meaning to read The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand.   I even have it on my bookshelf; just can't find the time!!

  13. "The Lie That Tells the Truth" by John Dufresne (I recommend it to everyone who wants to be a writer)

"The Hobbit" Tolkein (Fully illustrated hard back by Alan Lee)

    "A Christmas Carol" by Dickens

  14. The Idiot by Dostoevsky

    Steppenwolf by Hesse

    Moby d**k by Melville
