  1. The probability of picking a king on the 1st draw is 4/52

Since the card is then placed back in the deck the probability of picking a king on the 2nd draw is 4/52 (as there are 52 cards to choose from) and similiarly the 3rd time is 4/52

    p(3 kings)=4/52*4/52*4/52

    =1/13*1/13/*1/13

    =1/2197

  2. Well, let's look at the numbers.

Once you shuffle the deck, you randomize the order of the cards, so every time you shuffle, you reset your odds.

There are 4 kings in a 52 card deck. So the firs card you draw has a 4/52 chances to be a king. The second card, has 3/51, and the third card has a 2/50 to be a king.

So the odds of drawing 3 kings:

    4/52 * 3/51 * 2/50 = 1/5525

    So one out of 5525
