Three new members have joined the group, but the main page still says only one new member. Help?

there are two areas that display member count- top of page in activity and off to the left side- it may take yahoo time to update their pages

key thing is, does the group recognize them as memebrs as they log on? do you see them in your members list or membersship activity log?
