so i have my road test in a few hours, and i was wondering which shoulder should you be looking over when doing a three point turn? i've never been quite sure as to which to look over and it'd be great to know right about now.

and also, how can i be sure i won't hit the curb when i parallel park? usually, i'm pretty good about not hitting the curb, but a few times when i practiced, i hit it and now i'm really afraid that's gonna happen today.

thankyouu for your help ! :]

  1. Three point turn: You look over both, depending what part o the turn you are at.

First point, you want to make sure nobody is coming from either direction, so you'd look forward of course and then look over your left shoulder to make sure no traffic is coming from behind. Then you turn and make your car at a cross with the road, pulling up to the opposite sidewalk.

Second point, look to you left and right and make sure nobody is coming again, and back up into the lane you came from.

Third point, still make sure nobody will hit you, maybe look over our right shoulder, and just drive into the correct lane and you're done.

As for parallel parking, just make sure you turn fast enough into the spot and you shouldn't have a problem with hitting the curb. My instructor didn't even have me do parallel parking, so don't worry, haha..
