1) When a photographer advertises their skills and they do 'portraits' are they the same as headshots? If not can you use a portrait as a headshot??

2) Is school a good place to start building up experience and your resume?

3) How do you set out an acting resume???

  1. 1) Portraits aren't quite the same as headshots. Although most good photographers can do headshots. Usually they're black and white 8x10 photos.

    2) Yes, school is the best place to start building up experience and your resume

    3) You can learn how to set up an acting resume by just copying someone else's format.

    Put yourself in a position to meet other actors and talk to them about how they have their resume set up, maybe which photographer they used for their headshots as well (asuming they're from your area) and also how they find out about auditions, etc.
