Three tiered garden fountain is level, has no cracks but loses water in slow drips. What could cause this?

  1. you need to use a water sealer paint it on the fountain on the in side all over


  2. Believe it or not concrete is very porous. So it will eventually seep thru and drip. If the fountain is outside I wouldn't worry about it to much. But if it really bothers you. Seal the bowls either with a concrete sealant or paint designed for this purpose. Any hardware store will carry both types. Just ask the salesperson where they are. If you live where the winters get cold enough to freeze. Make sure to drain it with enough time for the concrete to completely dry out before the freezing temps or the moisture in the concrete will expand and crack the fountain.
