Three way battle expected in Welcome to Harolds Cross Greyhound Stadium 525
A tough competition amongst greyhounds is expected in the Welcome to Harolds Cross Greyhound Stadium 525 in Ireland on Monday, April 30, 2012. The winner of the Grade A6 event will be awarded a cash prize of €195.
The stamina of all runners will be put to a stern test, as they will have to cover an overall distance of 525 yards. The race is scheduled to start at 19:55 GMT and following entries have been confirmed: Dangerous Ballet, Norahs Choice, Joes Marble, Big
Award, Smart Cookie and Bogside Marie.
The bookies are expecting a close contest between Dangerous Ballet, Norahs Choice and Joes Marble, thus all three of them have been awarded with equally good odds. The punters will have to be careful before placing bets today, as anyone of the co-favourites
can finish on top of the table.
Dangerous Ballet, trained by Kinsella, does not have a lot of experience, but she appears to be in very good shape at the moment. She took part in a couple of solo runs at the start of her career and looked impressive.
Afterwards, the black b***h took part in a couple of races, where she did a decent job. Her most recent run was in a Grade A5 event, where she finished fifth overall. However, things will be a lot easier for her in this class.
Dangerous Ballet is the daughter of Flying Stanley out of Archers Sapphire and was born in November 2010.
On the other hand, Norahs Choice will also be the one to watch out for, as she has got a little more experience compared to her rivals. She has been doing a decent job recently, but will need a special effort in order to prevail today.
The Conaty’s trainee finished fourth in her previous race. She is the daughter of College Causeway out of Lemon Roxy and was born in July 2010.
Just like his opponents, Joes Marble is also a very good runner and might attract a few bets in his favour. However, he has not raced at Harold’s Cross, which might work against him in the end.
Today’s race will be quite an interesting one, as noting can be predicted about it. However, the spectators will certainly be entertained with all the action at Harold’s Cross.
