Three-way competition expected in Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase
A tough competition of horseracing is on the cards, as four quality stallions take on each other in the Colin Parker Memorial Intermediate Chase at Carlisle in England on Sunday, November 4, 2012.
All of them have been trained really well and have the ability to cause problems for each other. They will definitely entertain the spectators at the venue, but the punters will be a touch nervous, as they will have to pick one of them for betting.
The conditions are likely to play an important role in the 2 mile 4 furlong race, which is scheduled to start at 14:40 GMT. There has been some rain at this venue, which means that the ground will be soft. This will test the ability of all the stallions
to the limit and they will have to be extremely careful in order to avoid an injury.
On the other hand, the organisers will be hoping that there will not be any rain before the start of action, so that they can have a clean competition. The winner of the class-2 contest will bag a cash prize of £11,696 in the end.
It is hard to judge the winner with accuracy, but there will be a three way battle between Bold Sir Brian, Railway Dillon and Rival D´Estruval.
The latter of the above three has been given the best odds for victory by the punters, as he has been performing really well with consistency in recent times. He has not participated in a lot of chase events, but he has the ability to excel in them.
Overall, the seven-year-old gelding has raced in a couple of chase events, winning one of them whereas finished as a runner up in the other. He likes running on a wet track, thus the bettors should not be hesitant while risking money on him.
The Pauline Robson’s trainee was victorious in his most recent outing, which means that he will be full of confidence at the moment. He will be partnered by Timmy Murphy, who is a very good jockey.
On the other hand, Bold Sir Brian and Railway Dillon cannot be taken lightly at all and they should be able to give a tough time to the favourite stallion.
