Threwing a water polo ball faster and stronger?

120, 5 '10, still growing boy, wants to know how to threw the ball faster. I know i ll have to workout but this there any drills or anything for that fact that can help me with threwing better?

  1. practicing by throwing a ball against a wall can help increase arm strength


  2. you just need to get used to positioning yourself in the water..

    first you egg beater soot aht your arms are out of the water. and then you twist your torso forward and then just when you are twisiting.. you throw the bal.. so you kind of throw yourself forward along with the bal.. its tkae sometimet getting use to.but once you get the hang of it.. its a pretty strong throw..

  3. i found concentrating on my follow through helped my throwing overnight. Now i shoot really strongly and slap the water everytime i shoot. practice as well will help u and u will instintively through the ball above ur target's head
