Question:

Throat irritation and constant desire to spit ?

Hi there,

I have the filling that something rusty is in my throat just above the adam's apple where the nostrils channels and the throat get together.

This thing makes me 'itchy' to inhale and to vigorously try to spit whatever is stuck there.

This condition started 3-4 weeks ago and today i found blood traces in my spit. Not very likely to be lung cancer but rather thin blood vessels who bursted upon my attempts to spit.

What could it be?

and is there any better way/ tewrm to describe it.

Thanks.

  1. sounds like allergies ...  the mucus from your sinuses drains into your throat ...  many times it builds up there a little causing irritation and itching, especially when breathing in b/c the flow will make the mucus vibrate ...  avoid dairy and sugar and gargle with warm salt water ...  hopefully this can break it up and provide some relief ...

an antihistamine or tea with honey might help also ...

if none of these help, you may wish to consult your physician ...
