anyone know where i can get one, the dealership says it is discontinued.

  1. when I needed a cable for my Savage.. (only imported to Australia for 2 years in the 80s).. I went to a fliexible drive company (They make cables for clutch ,brake & speedos).. found them in the phone book..  they made a new one for less than the list price from Suzuki.. & I didnt have to wait 6 weeks for it to come from Japan..

  3. Some motorcycle shops make custom cables.You will need the old one so they will have a reference.You can buy a cable making kit from Parts Unlimited but they are exspencive.

  4. Ebay.

    I have a 1974 Yamaha 2 stroke dirtbike. I buy parts for it off ebay from a place in Thailand. They are NOS Yamaha parts and I have had not problems at all. Also many cycle salvage places in the US sell parts on ebay
