Throw out bearing going bad?

Question

When I'm in gear, usually in 2nd or 3rd gear, and I press and hold down the clutch without putting the car in the neutral. I would sometimes hear a grinding noise. Is my throw out bearing going bad and do i have to replace it.

i would say it,s the throwout bearing, probably getting ready to go.

Either that or your cable needs an adjustment.

Sounds like it is the throw out bearing going bad. It would be foolish however to tear it all down and only replace that. I would get a good quality clutch kit installed at a shop like Luk, the kit would contain everything you need, well what the shop would need. Also have the flywheel resurfaced at that time.
