  1. 1.Canada of course

2.Alex would have even more respect but not crosby

3.Yes. If they did Mark Bell wouldn't have been able to injure Alfredsson and fisher before last years playoffs

4.I dont think women will ever be players. Not that they dont have the skill its just guys dont want to have to hit girls and it would be awkward in the locker room

5.Used to go to Fog Devil games (QMJHL) before they left st johns in the spring

    6.doesnt matter

  2. 1.) Team Canada of course!  I get a lot of heat about that because I'm American.

2.) I'd think less of Crosby!  Britney Spears is a washed up pop star who's a mess.  Crosby could do so much better than trash like her.  And Alex...at least Jessica Simpson isn't as gross.  So I don't really care.

3.) Yeah, definitely because it's a major crime.

4.) I don't really mind, as long as the league isn't just trying to hire them for publicity, like Manon Rheaume.  It's great that she was the first woman to play in an NHL preseason game, but you have to admit she wasn't good and the Lightning just let her play for the publicity, being a new team and trying to get a fanbase.  So I would prefer if the women were actually capable and qualified, so that it doesn't look like they're being hired just because they're women rather than for their skill.

5.) I used to watch my brother play in his high school games, but that's pretty much it.  I'm gonna be going to college next year so hopefully whoever accepts me has a good hockey team!

6.) I don't really play, but my brother uses Bauer and Easton and he's pretty happy with that.

  3. 1. USA and Canada

    2. Well they would go down in my opinion

    3. Depends on how serious it was

    4. Any position really except I just can't see women playing with men in the NHL unless there was a women goalie, that doesn't bother me but for some reason women and men playing all positions on a team seems...strange.

    5. Nothing really but I keep an eye on college hockey once in a while

    6. I don't play hockey so I honestly couldn't say

  4. 1. The US, although I think we'll lose on both sides.  On the men's side, I'll be cheering for the Wings training ground (Sweden).

    2. I already think less of Crosby.  Dating Britney wouldn't help him.  Although it wouldn't hurt him either.  As for Ovechkin.....I don't know.  I guess it all depends on if his performance starts to drop ala Tony Romo.

    3. Depends on the felony.

    4. Depends on if they get a Women's NHL going.

    5. I don't attend much.  It's usually just collegiate hockey.

    6. I don't know.

  5. 1. canada&canada

    2. less of both

    3.  no

    4.  ref

    5. high-school, an occasional princeton game,

    6.  personally, as long as the stick works, i use it, i do have my preferances, but i wont spend more than i need, i use wooden, and currently its nike

  6. 1) In men's Canada + Suomi in women's Canada (friend of mine is on the lady's team)

    2) I could care less about their personal lives

    3) How serious of a felony? (Craig MacTavish sat out a year in the mid-80s after being found guilty of murder)

    4) Eventually yes and I have no problem with it. Hate to say it this way but I think they would find their mark as goalies where size doesn't play as much of an impact.

    5) Central Hockey League, and when up north, I try and see a Jr league game like the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League when I was in New Brunswick over Christmas.

6a) Composite player sticks - Easton

6b) Wood player sticks - Victoriaville (though admittingly, somewhat biased as that was the first stick I had) Seriously though I would say Titan - until I started working I had like 2$ a week allowance.

6c) Composite goalie sticks - have no experience with them

6d) Wood goalie sticks - CCM / Heaton, though my Sherwood is holding up well.

ps Homes : it would be a Sherwood PMP - but why not a Victoriaville like Beliveau?

  7. 1.) Canada. + Canada = TWO gold Medals:)

2.) i wouldnt really care about their personal lives as long as they keep playing

3.)good questoin, depends what the felony would be

4.) Well good question, they would have to be as good as the coaches and goalies now, I left out the Refs cause some arent that good.

5.) none, i cant skate worth a darn but i friggin LOVE HOCKEY

6.) Depends on Feild hockey, and ice hockey.

  8. 1. No thumbs down please. Canada all the way.

    2. It's pretty hard not to think any less of these 2 hockey players.

    3. Only while serving their jail sentences. It is not an employer's right to administer punishments outside their area of jurisprudence. A hockey league or any other employer does not have a right to administer justice beyond that of the courts.

    4. Actual playing positions are unlikely. Size and strength requirements will defer any woman from playing anything more than random or exhibition games at a high level. Manon couldn't take the grind of an 80 game schedule and she was an exceptional woman's player.

Other positions including coaching and refereeing are possible

    5.  I attend about 25-30 junior, senior, and minor hockey league games a year. But then I live in rural Canada where this is a rule not a right.

    6. Hespeller made my old Mic Mac and I still swear by it.

  9. 1) USA for both  The Women have the better shot to win gold though

2)I don't really care whom they date

3)At minimum a very long suspension. They kill someone . Bye bye

4)Yes you will see it happening. It may happen sooner then anyone thinks. Not just saying that because I play

5)I personally play both house and travel so plenty of games I am playing in. I usually help out with some kids tourneys here and there. I also go to see at least one ECHL game in Naples a year

6)There are three brands that are my favorites. Christian( can't find them anymore) Sherwood ( my current fave) and Easton( had a few really good solid sticks from them

  10. 1.  Well, as usual I am American, so I have to be a Homer, then if the Americans are sucking (which usually happens), I starting cheering for Canada.  I always cheer for the NHL guys, though no matter what country.

    2.  I really am not concerned with what butt a hockey player is tapping.  Spears has kids right?  Well, it may be like dropping a coin in the bucket, so I will go with Ovechkin.

    3.  Nope.  Being drunk in your front yard is a felony, so I guess it depends on the severity.  Example:  If a hockey player got really into heroin and became an addict, I would hope the NHL would put him on a program and let him back on the ice, once he is clean.  Sometimes people make mistakes...I know I have in my past.

    4.  Not in the near future.  I have always been a bit sexist, the other way around.  I like hockey, but I don't think, I would make an appropriate coach, ref, or goaltender.  I guess I am just old fashion, and was born after people were burning their bras.  Let the men do their thing.  I would mind seeing a separate woman's league.

    5.  I went to a pee-wee game a few week ago with one on my friends to watch his grandson play....doesn that count. :)  It was so cute.

    6.  The last hockey stick I played with was a Sherwood PNP or PMP or something like that.  I am old....I can't remember everything...and I haven't played since I was a kid.

Habs Fan:  Cripes!  I'm not that old!  lol.

  11. 1. Canada and Canada!!!

    2. Way less. Maybe if Brit and Jess actually acted like they had some brain cells once in a while, it wouldn't be so bad.  But I'd die if Crosby or Ovie ever lowered themselves to those standards.

    3. Depends on what the felony was, but mainly yes.

    4. I don't know if women will ever break the barrier in the NHL.  There just seems to be this whole notion that the NHL is for men.  I would really like to see some women holding down such as coaching, and it would be awesome to see them actually playing.

    5. I have season tickets for the Kitchener Rangers (OHL) and I never miss a game!

    6. I can't really answer that performance-wise because a game of pickup hockey in the street is the closest I ever come to playing.  Looks-wise though, I have to say Rbk makes some pretty sweet looking sticks.  And I tested out an O-Stick before they realized I had no intentions of buying it, and that was a really great stick.

  12. 1) USA for both

    2) It wouldn't lessen my opinions. Their personal lives are their buisness

    3) No

    4) Someday. The NBA has female refs

    5) I go to a couple Niagara University gms per yr including last yrs Confrence Hockey America (CHA) Championship Game vs. Bemenji State. I have a couple cousins who play. 2 play travel, one plays house, one my Cousin Mikey is about 8 and is a hitting machine out there. Future enforcer

    6) Reebok. It's what I use

  13. 1. C A N A D A !

    2. If they love 'em and leave 'em, good for them!

    3. Yes.  Then they can try out for the NFL.

    4. On the bottom

    5. University hockey every year for the playoffs (UofA Golden Bears, my alma mater).

    6. CCM

  14. 1) Team USA, just because i'm from the states... & canada for the obvious reason.

    2) I wouldn't mind Crosby dating Spears.. Doesn't affect me.

But I'd laugh at Alex for the fact that Jessica Simpson is supposed to be bad luck. Cause she dated (or dates?) Romo and the fans don't exactly like her haha

    3) If he does something illegal while wearing his hockey uniform, i think so... cause he he isn't affecting the National Hockey League...

    4) I'd love to see more women in the NHL.

I'm planning on going to the Art Institute of Pittsburgh to get my Bachelor of Science in Photography, and i hope to work for the Pens in photographing them during their games.

    5) None really... Plus, all the hockey players graduated this year, so we have no players.

    6) hmm. i own a lot of different ones.. don't really have a favorite.

  15. 1. In each case, U.S. 1st, Canada 2nd.

    2. In each case, yes.  Although if Ovechkin dated Jessica, and her bad luck hit the Caps, how would anyone tell?

    3. Only if the felony is hockey-related, i.e. a vicious assault on another player, or in cases similar to those of Alan Eagleson and Rick Tocchet.

    4. I wouldn't mind seeing female refs.  They couldn't do any worse than the men have! Though Islander fans would probably mock them as "Ice Girls."

    5. I live about halfway between the Devils' new arena in Newark and their top farm team in Trenton, but I've never been to a game at the Trenton arena, even though I've been to several games at the minor-league baseball park there.  Princeton University usually has a good team, but I've never seen a game there, either.  Rutgers is closer to me, but they don't have a hockey team beyond the club level.

    6. Easton.

  16. 1. USA/USA.

    2. Nope. Tony Romo's with Jessica Simpson and I still think he's an overrated little shiit.

    3. No. Everybody deserves a second chance.

    4. Eventually yes. idk..I've always wanted to be a coach..so I'll say coach.

    5. Beanpot in Boston. I go to some AHL games. I play High School Hockey. I go to some of my cousins games he'll be in high school this year. And I go to some of the boys high school games.

    6. RBK or Easton.

  17. 1.Men's- Russia, Women's- USA

    2. No, except that they are hockey players and they could probably just get different girls every night.

    3. No, suspended depending on the situation.

    4. I doubt women could get coaching, front office or announcing/analyzing jobs because they are all held by ex players, playing goaltender does not seem likely either. Reffering seems plausible if she could keep up with the play.

5.I help coach a high school hockey team, and I have been to many Western Michigan home games where I attend school.

    6. I prefer Bauer Vapor's.

  18. 1. Team Russia ftw.

    2. I'd think less of Crosby, but I don't think highly of him in the first place.

    3. No.

    4. Anywhere.

    5. Nothing other then hockey interests me.

    6. I was always fond of Easton.

  19. 1. USA (because that's where I'm from), Canada (just because it's my favorite country) and Russia (because I like Russia, Russians, and I take Russian)

    2. No, but it would give me a good laugh.

    3. Depends on the degree of the felony.

    4. I hope so I think it would be great (as long as they aren't puck bunnies and they have to know what they're talking about). I'd love to be one of the women working in the NHL.

    5. I've been to a couple of minor league games and this year I hope to attend a few college games.

    6. Honestly........I don't know shite about hockey sticks. I'm really not the one to ask. =P
