Question:

Thrush tablet and anti-biotics?

on sunday i started taking a 7day course of anti-biotics and because of them i've now got thrush and its killing me!!!! if i take a thrush tablet today (wednesday) will it completely get rid of it for this course of treatment or just get rid of it for few days then come back because i still have to take the anti-biotics till saturday

  1. No it should get rid of it. Its happenend to me a few times. The practice nurse told me to drink probiotic drinks ie; danone etc whenever I take antibiotics and I found it works.
