Thumb pain going down forearm

The muscle under your thumb... i think its called the flexor pollicis brevis hurts badly when i try and bend my thumb backwards. It also hurts to touch that part. The pain goes all the way down my forearm on the outer side, I really cant think of anything i have done to it but it is swollen pretty bad, what could this be? Thank you for your time

  1. Sounds like tendinitis. You should have it checked out.


  2. It is either nerve or tendon damage see your doctor for help. it may be fixable with therapy.
