Thumb sucking problem??

my frined trevon is always sucking his thumb, and we tell him about it but he says its nothing..ohh yeah hes sixteen! whats wrong??

um, ok every time u catch him tell him to stop and tell him  to keep his hands in his pocket or something

may b he doesnt know dat there are lollipops in dis world.

There is nothing wrong with him unless and until he identifies this behavior as a problem.  Is he harming anybody? Is he harming himself, or is there something about his behavior which threatens people?  

If he starts to become very concerned about this, you should feel free to help him alter his behavior.  Otherwise, you are doing more harm than good trying to convince him he's doing something wrong.
