Thumbelina and Anastasia?

I just caught the end of Thumbelina on HBO and it stopped me. Isn't that song that the sparrow sings about following your heart or whatever almost the same as the song the fat guy sings in Anastasia, same music and everything? And also some of the other songs sounded familiar, plus the voices. Oh, and the art, because Thumbelina looks a lot like Anastasia. So, what gives? Why use everything but change the storyline? Is the same artist, voices, and musicians in both animations? Or am I just being really picky?

Both movies were created by the same people, so it is likely they used the same animators and musicians. It's also possible one or two characters were voiced by the same actor.
