Yahoo Answers is a place I visit daily to ask and answer questions from a variety of categories. One day I met another lady that also had special needs such as myself. I am 43, in a wheelchair, Para. Yesterday, this woman, Gail, was the only person on-line that was on my messenger list. My wheelchair motor had burned out and I had no phone to call for help, so I instant messaged her; hotmommadiamonds, to see if she could call for help. Now, we live in 2 different states and have only chatted a few times. I figured that she would think I was crazy when I asked her to call my family and explain my emergency situation, but she gladly helped me! Gail, in her own limited capacity, contacted her daughter and asked her to make some calls for me. Within an hour my father was here to help. I offered to pay her for the phone calls, which she said no. So, to say thank you to such a kind and caring human being, I ask everyone to give her a thumbs up next time you see her here. Gail, You saved me yesterday and for that I can never repay. You are truly an angel from God! Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

Who has been someone whom saved you in life from unforeseeable circumstances?

  2. Sometimes life can be so rough and then out of the blue.. someone who has nothing to gain by helping you.. does just that. It's nice to know that there are always great people out there.. willing to go out of their way and do something so little that will mean so much.

I actually have found my angel as well.

A week and 2 days ago my boyfriend and I were going to visit his family and it's about a 3.5 hr drive from our college. We were in his car and he was driving.. to make a long story short he lost control and we rolled 3 times across the interstate and flipped back across the interstate twice.

Every roll when I could feel my head hit something or my seatbelt keep me in place as I thrashed around I thought "Will this be the once that snaps my neck" I was terrafied. My boyfriend and I didn't make a noise during the entire time. All we could hear was sounds of glass breaking, metal crunching and grinding and sand and dirt as it fell onto us. When we finally stopped I tried to rub the dirt and sand out of my eyes and I was covered in mud and dirt. I looked at my boyfriend and said are you ok? And he said yeah, I think so.. are you ok? And I said yeah, I am.. then I held his neck and kissed him and said we are ok, were going to be ok, alright? and I told him I loved him. I didn't want him to feel worried about me or scared.

We both were ok enough to get out of the car but before we could a lady ran to us and asked us if we were alright and she already called 911. She stayed with us and helped me crawl out the other side of the car because mine was smashed in, she helped us look for all out things (everything in the car was thrown out except for us) every window was smashed.. she took her whole night waiting with us, picking up our scattered belongings and stayed with us until the police asked her to leave.

For the most part we are ok, my neck and back is hurt and I'm taking pills and doing physical therapy but it could have been much worse and I thank God that she was there and she was kind enough to help us and let me use her phone to call my parents 5 hours away and let them know. We were so shocked I don't know if we even would have called 911. I hope that God blesses her with everything he's got.
