Thumbs up thumbs down on yahoo's answers?

Do you ever feel that you now you have let a great answer and you get a thumbs down and you know its from someone who's answering the same question you are.

WHAT DO YOU THINK SHOULD BE DONE!

Don't you think that answers.yahoo should make it that if your answering questions that you shouldn't be able to give that same question a thumbs up or down because they can go in and give other answers the thumb down and nake theirs look better to the one who asked the question.

Uh I can thumbs up or down any question I want not just ones that I answer.

If we are trying to help someone we always try to give what we consider the best answer.

Others might not agree. It's ok for them to disagree.

Sometimes I answer then read more answers and see one I like even better then I give it a thumbs up. Sometimes there is an inappropriate answer and I give it a thumbs down.

But then, for me, it's about honestly trying to help people and not about the number score.

When the author gives me the best answer I feel I have helped them.

When the other helpers give me best answer it brightens my day.

i don't really care about other people giving thumps down because you have some people that answer and it has nothing to do with the question or are being straight a******s...i personally think that most of the answers that have a thumps down for all of them are coming from the person that asked the question, especially if it's a answer they don't like. now that i hate because they ask questions and don't except the truth
