I was in a place in southern Brazil. The rain didn't fall there as much, but there would be storms on the horizon ... for almost 360 degrees

Everywhere you looked was lightening except straight up where you'd see stars

It was a cattle farm, and one night I was down by the river under the tin roofed pagoda. A fire fly (or lightening bug) flew underneath to get out of the rain, and every time there was a lightening flash, he thought he was surrounded by male bugs competing for a female, so he would light up too.

He was pretty worn out after 15 mins of that

I chase tornadoes and clouds (I know, odd, isn't it) for a hobby, so I have to love them.  After all, the best clouds come out of thunderstorms.  On Saturday, there was a storm out in Fargo, North Dakota (I didn't catch that one, but it produced a tornado) and it actually came to where I live.  I walked outside and the clouds were amazing, like unreal.  They were swirling and everywhere and BLACK and could possibly have been hiding a tornado.  It was an amazing storm.  I've been into this hobby for a  long time and when it's not tornado season, I do two things.  I prepare for tornado season and I keep a very detailed weather journal.  Everything down to air pressure at 11AM, 3PM and 6PM.  I'm very interested in one thing also: The capacity of clouds, or how much they hold, compared to how much they drop in one place.  A lot of things that have to do with weather facinate me.  So thunderstorms with me aren't neccisarily loving them, but being interested in them and wondering.  Weather is the biggest mystery that I've ever encountered and the mystery that I want to solve.

I love weather and I'm VERY interested in it!!!
