Thunder Storms + bangs?

Question

I was in my room yesterday and the blinds were closed.

Then i saw a massive flash of lightning through the blinds and a BANG...it wasn't like normal thunder at all.

Like a firework had just gone off!

It wasn't scary or anything, was just wondering, what was it?

there is a strange phenomenon called " Ball Lightning". May be that is what you could have seen. Refer to the following site its an interesting one
