Thunderbugs / thunderflys ?

Question

I don't know what they are called but here in england as soon as you step outside you get covered in these flying tiny black bugs that are the size of a dot.

Do you know that they are called and how to keep them away?.

These tiny bugs have been crawling over me all day driving me crazy they go on your face in your hair all over your clothes.

I know what they are! Those little jerks are called Thrips.

They are here in Germany too. They have been driving me crazy too. And they are gonna ruin my wedding outside party! I hate those things. They are not in the USA so I asked my German fiance to look it up for me on the internet. There are plenty of similar bugs but I know the one that you are talking about it called Thrips. They make me cry! AUGH!

Sorry, but I don't know how to keep them away. Just don't wear WHITE, or RED, or YELLOW outside. Wear dark clothes is what he (his family) too keep telling me. I am not sure if its because you can't see it on the dark clothes, but they say that those little jerks actually don't like the dark clothes. He says they prefer the lighter colors.

I don't know what else to tell you..I wish I did =(

that way I can have my wedding party outside and not worry about them crawling on my dress, arms and in my hair.

If you find a solution to keep them off---PLEASE POST IT.
