Thyroid Question....?

I have hyperactive thyroid and the doctor told me to take Levothyroxine and it says it's to treat hypothyroidism. THe other day I called my doctor about that and they told me that it was the right medicine. Are they actually right?

Yes, it could be used for both. Your taking a lower dose then what your body makes and your body stops making it when you take the pill
