I want to apply for Canadian immigration but I have to take a daily

dose of thyroxin for my thyroid gland as it stopped working and I have

to take it daily for the rest of my life.

Can somebody advise me if it is a prohibitive factor for my medical?

  1. I doubt it very much. You have a extremely common condition that is unlikely to impact you in any negative way. for instances it won't stop you from working nor will it cause you to need expensive or extreme medical care so you would n not become a burden on the country.

  2. That medication is cheaper than aspirin.  I doubt it will impact on your ability to immigrate to Canada.
