Ti-84 plus problem?

Question

I have a ti-84 plus and once I turn it on it automatically turns off. The batteries are new since I replaced it so what could I do to fix the problem. I turn it on, in less than 1 millisecond it turns back off. Thanks.

Mine did the same thing, instead of trying to figure out what was wrong with it and messing it up more i went ahead and sent it back and got another working one, It could be a factory defect, just take it back and get a new one.
