TiVo Wireless Adapter?

Question

I'm thinking about getting a TiVo Wireless Adapter and I know you are able to transfer your recordings to your computer. I was wondering if you can then burn those recordings onto a DVD that will play in any normal DVD player. I have a VAIO laptop, so I'm not sure if I'll be able to burn them to a DVD. I'll be really mad if I spend $60 or whatever to but the adapter, but then I'm not able to burn things to a DVD. Thanks so much in advance!!

If your lap top has burning harware and software then you are a go! But you will have to pay TiVo's one time $30 upgrade to TiVo desktop plus:(
