  1. Why the need to choose a side?

Both China AND Tibet need to be freed

    from tyranny.

The people of both Countries suffer from

Human Rights issues and are trying to be free.

I am for both Countries to be free ,to be once

more allowed to practise their spiritual beliefs.

To be free from Communism -which may have

once sort for unity of the people and equal power-

and yet it's Leaders do NOT apply those principles-therefore they should NOT be in power

and in Tibet's case ,the Dalai Lama should be

allowed to return and lead his people.

  2. i'm sure both have problems.

  3. I am on the side of humanity.  Tibet is only one example of how people all over China suffer from the lack of freedom of conscience.  The answer is not for poor, isolated Tibet to become an unsustainable independent country but for all of China to become more free.

  4. Free Tibet!

  5. I'm surely on both sides. I am fully convinced China would benefit as much as the Tibetans from finding a peaceful solution through respecting the wishes, culture and religion of the Tibetans, through constructive dialogue with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and through finding a model for meaningful autonomy for Tibet and the Tibetans within the borders of China.

That would give peace and harmony inside China, cooperation and friendship between the peoples of PRC and it would definitively give an enormous boost to the goodwill and public relations of China vs the Western democracies, which would be of great benefit for the economy of China and for their involvements in international politics.

  6. Neither. If you are on Tibet's side; you alliance with slavery an religious oppression with no economy. If you are on China's side; political oppression and economic unfairness.

  7. Tibet... If I post my opinion of china I would be deleted from Yahoo
