Tica bus Costa Rica to Mexico?

Has anyone taken a Tica bus all the way to Mexico from Costa Rica? Does the bus go straight through? Will a British Citizen just need a passport to cross the borders?

I have not taken the bus but a British passport should take you through.  I would check to the foreign ministry's (Britain's) to make sure however.

Go to Acapulco.

they have some serious malls.

I have done what you are talking about although not on Tica.  I was fine with an American passport, a British should be fine, but check online to make sure.  

Tica goes through the major capitals in CA, I'm not sure if you have to transfer or not.   It may take awhile at the crossings for all the passengers to get thru the officials.

By the way, Jocelyn is wrong...except for a few places like Limon and bad parts of San Jose, Costa Rica is not ghetto at all.  Whereas Acapulco is...its seen better days since "Love Boat".
