  1. Oh my gosh!www.americanairlines.com or www.ticketmaster.com!

  2. 2 diff questions...pd stby? If you have a confirmed flt on AA and want to change w/in 12 hrs of ur flt, you can pay 25.00usd if the flt u want is available.  If you want to fly "standby" with a buddy pass, you must know someone that works for AA that will give you a "D3" pass. Unfortunately, the flts are soooo full anymore with all the reduced fares, standby is very iffy at best, and a D3 charge is really not that cheap. It is really not worth it.  You are better off going to orbitz or travelocity, or last resort, priceline (very restrictive). I have worked for AA 20 years, and rarely trvl stby myself, to risky...

  3. Go to orbitz.com, americanairlines.com or expedia.com

If you want a stand-by ticket, you need to ask an employee of american airlines.

  4. Now a days you don't get a paper ticket, you get a e-ticket if you book on line. (e-mail) You can book a ticket for someone else, pay for it and have the e-mail sent to that person.

I don't know what a paid stand-by ticket is. You want to buy a ticket for a non-relative on a flight that is fully booked and hope the person gets a seat in the event of a cancellation? Is this what you are asking?
