  1. This is all that I could find, hope it helps........

It range from less than $100 for a first offense to more than $300 when children are not buckled in according to the California Highway Patrol.

  2. When I comes to the safety of children there isn't anything you can say to fight or lower the charge.  You really need to be responsible and put a child in a child seat.  One day you will regret not having that child in a child seat and by then it will be to late....You are responsible for killing a child!!

  3. You have no defense there is no excuse for not carrying a child the right way.  Be glad nothing happened and you did not have to learn the hard way.

  4. A child sharing a seatbelt with an adult is a very bad thing waiting to happen or even with another child for that matter.  Put your arm on a swing set seat and have your two heaviest buddies sit on it, now figure in a bad wreck the force would be maybe three times that weight.   No, no, no,  put your child where they belong, in a proper seat and properly belted in.  Surprised they didn't take you in and turn the child in to child protective services.  Did they allow you to drive on?
