Ticket scam! i need help on how to get a refund please!

hi im in need of serious help!.. i bort a ticket off www.xclusiveticket.com for v festival to find out that its a scam website because they told me that they had put them selves into voluntary bankruptcy, i paid £182.50 for my ticket and im only 17 so i can't really afford to loose out on that amount of money, a friend of mine said you can take it to the county court but im not sure on how to go about doing this?.... i really do need help if any one has any suggestions on how i would get a refund?.. by the way i used a visa debit card.

  1. Stacey, I'm afraid that as you paid by debit card and not credit card your card company won't be able to help you. I'd suggest that you trot along to your local Citizens Advice Bureau pdq.  I note that the website is still up and apparently running, so it looks like they're just lying to you.  I also note their registered office is in Arizona so it is not going to be easy getting anything out of them.

  4. Xclusiveticket are a scam. Poor you! I'm not sure exactly how it'll work as you paid by debit card. In future, for things like this you should always pay by credit card because the card holds a guarantee and you can get it back. Never pay by debit/cash. I think the most you can do at the moment is go into your local branch and see an adviser, who can advise you on what to do next. Good luck!
