Tickets out for sale for the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters
The tickets for the Commercial Bank Qatar Masters golf tournament, slated to start from January 23, 2013, are now on sale, as announced by the tournament organizers. It will be the first time that the event will be staged from Wednesday to Saturday.
The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters is one of prestigious sporting event staged every year in Qatar, featuring a number of top-notch players from different parts of the world.
The tournament will be staged at the Doha Golf Club, offering a total prize fund of US$2.5 million, to the participants.
According to the tournament organizers, the tickets are available at the Virgin Megastore shops in Villagio Mall, Landmark Mall, and the Doha Golf Club.
In addition to that, the game lovers can also buy tickets online by visiting www.virginmegastore.me.
For the first two rounds, the price for adults will be QR50 for each day and QR125 will be charged for each of the next two rounds.
The reason behind the increase in price for the second and the third round is the inclusion of the evening music entertainment show, trick shot show and the presentation ceremony.
People can also buy a Season Ticket worth QR250, which will include entries for the first two rounds and the evening shows on day three and four.
Children under 15 years of age will get free entries. However, they will not be allowed to attend the evening programs, as the entertainment events will only be for adults, over 18 years of age.
Andrew Stevens, Group Chief Executive Officer of Commercial Bank of Qatar, believes that the tournament will be a huge success this season, because of the commitments made by some of the best players in the world.
“The Commercial Bank Qatar Masters is set for another spectacular edition in January 2013. We are in the process of confirming a number of both European Tour and American PGA Tour stars, so there will be a truly global field,” Stevens said.
He added, “Commercial Bank is now in its ninth year as title sponsor of the tournament and all of us at the bank are truly excited about the upcoming edition”.
