Ticos costa rica?

People in Sarchi town call them selves Ticos but is that just for Sarchi like if you lived in Costa RIca would you be a tico? or just Sarchi?

No, for everyone...we call ourselves "ticos" because of the way we talk, for example if  we wanna say something's  small we say  "chiquiTICO" while in other latinamerican countries they would say "chiquiTITO"

From what I have read all  Costa RIcans are called Ticos. (not just the people in Sarchi)
