Tidal Run to sail through the Norfolk Racing Club/M.D. Thompson Electrical Handicap at Yarmouth
Tidal Run, Jamarjo, Maison Brillet, Colinca’s Lad, Nolecce, Royal Defence and Grandad Mac will compete in the Norfolk Racing Club/M.D. Thompson Electrical Handicap at Yarmouth on 10th April, 2012.
The 1 mile, 3 furlong and 101 yards race will be run on a track that has been labelled good to soft. The seven runners will compete for a purse of £2,264.
With a victory already in the bag this season, Tidal Run shows immense potential. The training of Mick Channon came alive and took full form on the track when she triumphed last week.
She succeeded over Market Puzzle, in the Folkestone Town Centre Management Jubilee Events Handicap at Folkestone on 5th April, 2012, where she was ridden by jockey, William Buick.

She had slim chances of winning as she entered with the odds of 100 to 30, but sped past the competition with her brisk pace.
The daughter of Hurricane Run, out of mare Tidie France, is in impeccable form and she will sail through the course today.
The four-year-old filly ran as a favourite in the last race of 2011, with the odds of 5 to 2 in the Fortinet - Real Time Network Protection Handicap at Nottingham on 28th July, 2011, where she finished in third place.
Royal Defence, son of Refuse To Bend, out of Alessia, may give Tidan Run a tough time on the track.
The Michael Quinn trained six-year-old gelding may triumph in the Percy Cunliffe Handicap at Brighton on 12th September, 2011. Paired with jockey, Sean Levey, he finished ½ a length adrift of, Rowan Ridge.
He ended the season with a placed finish, as he finished third in the Fosse Way Classified Claiming Stakes at Leicester on 11th October, 2011. Under the same jockey, he missed the finish as a runner-up by a short-head distance
to Lord Of The Storm.
Tidal Run has a slight advantage in the race, as she has already competed in a start this season compared to Royal Defence.
Royal Defence will not give up easily, and bring his best to today’s race. He has the motivation to start his season with a magnificent victory, something he can achieve with a little luck and a lot of hard work.
